A mother, a traveller, and a dreamer.

Sidra Hashmani grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and Houston, Texas, USA. Her own mother served as an inspiration for her love for reading, and her family also supported her passion. 

After graduating from college and becoming a mother, she relocated to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, where she studied Arabic, Islamic Studies, and the Qur’an. Her desire to put Islam at the centre of her family life has stoked her interest in writing Islamic children’s books.

Sidra presently resides in Houston, Texas, USA, with her spouse and three children.
